Disability Outreach Group - Bacchus Marsh

A self-help group for people with disabilities providing support, networking and referral options. The group meets a few times each year. Telephone contact is available during business hours and after hours.

Merrimu Services Inc.

A non profit organisation, which offers activities to adult people with intellectual, physical, multiple, sensory, dual disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Merrimu currently operates from two locations, one in Bacchus Marsh and another in Melton.

The EW Tipping Foundation

A not-for-profit organisation helping people to live life their way. We provide person centred support and we foster inclusive communities. Our vision is independence, choice and community for all. Our activities include:

Disability Employment Network

MatchWorks in Bacchus Marsh provides a range of services for all people who are looking for work, including people with a disability through the Disability Employment Network. We will work with you to help you find a job that meets your individual needs.

The Disability Employment Network (DEN) is a specialist program designed for helping people with a disability to find and maintain suitable work.

With an individual approach to your needs, MatchWorks may offer:

  • Assistance in becoming work ready, including training.
  • Experienced staff to assist you with your job search including advice on resumes writing, interview skills and assistance in finding suitable jobs.
  • Support when you first begin your job, including any on the job training
  • Ongoing support once you are in your job if required
  • Vocational training
  • Access to employer incentives such as workplace modifications.
