Maternal & Child Health Nurse
Services provided by Moorabool Shire Council may include infant health screening, feeding advice, parent & child groups, new mothers' groups, immunisation programs and referrals where appropriate. An outreach service specifically targeting isolated families, families with disabilities and current non-users of the Maternal & Child Health Service is also available.

Domestic Violence & Incest
The Domestic Violence & Incest Resource Centre (DVIRC) is working to prevent family violence in Victoria through educational services (i.e. helpful pamphlets, newsletters, library, websites and professional training). It also provides support for people who have experienced abuse in the form of Initial telephone consultation, Information and Referral to specialist support services. DVIRC is a statewide service that's funded by the Department of Human Services, Victoria.
